Kisling, Nestico & Redick Awarded Webby for Website Design

The law firm Kisling, Nestico & Redick was recently awarded a Webby for its company’s website design. Out of 13,000 entries, the firm’s website was acknowledged for innovation and creativity. The award is given to less than 20% of the entrants. The New York Times credits the Webbys as the “Internet’s Highest Honor.” According to Rob Nestico, one of the firm’s partners, navigability was important in the website’s design as was ensuring visitors’ questions were able to be answered. The Webby Awards started in 1996 by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. There are currently over 2,000 judges from a variety of backgrounds including web experts, creative celebrities, and business figures.

Kisling, Nestico & Redick is a personal injury law firm that started in 2005 and is located in Ohio. The firm has offices throughout the state, with a workforce of 30 attorneys and over 100 employees serving as support. The firm’s mission of working on behalf of clients against large insurance companies has personal relevance to the partners. At the age of 15, Nestico was in a serious car accident that ended in his being hospitalized for three months. Through this experience Nestico saw firsthand how large companies can take advantage of people. Because his parents were Italian immigrants who did not speak English, they were unaware of their rights and what they were up against.

The success of Kisling Nestico & Redick could be due in part to what the firm has called its possible secret weapon, and that is its hiring of attorneys who have experience working at large insurance companies. These attorneys have firsthand knowledge of the common business and legal practices of insurance companies, and they use that knowledge to help their clients as best as they can.
