Vijay Eswaran was a speaker during the Concordia Summit and World Economic Forum

Vijay Eswaran is not only a well-known entrepreneur but also as a philanthropist an author. His latest book, Two Minutes from the Abyss: 11 Pillars of Life Management was released in 2016. Vijay Eswaran currently works for his company, QI Group, in the position of Executive Chairman. QI is a multinational company that is headquartered in Hong Kong and has its operations in over 30 countries in various parts of the world.

In the spirit of giving back to society, Vijay Eswaran also founded Vijayaratnam as well as RHYTHM, which are foundations that are actively engaged in community development projects. Their other goal is women empowerment and helping the children with various forms of disabilities who are living in the Middle East, Africa, as well as Asia. He is also the founder of Qnet Limited, a company that combines electronic commerce with direct selling.

In 2011, Vijay Eswaran started the Quest international University Perak in Malaysia. This establishment was in collaboration with the local government of Malaysia. The institution is mandated to provide affordable education and its rapid growth has seen it enroll more than 1,600 students by 2017. His company QI, is also constructing QI city, which is expected to cost about $300 million. It shall include retail spaces, hospital, accommodation and will also serve as the company’s new headquarters.

Recently, Vijay Eswaran was featured as one of the speakers in the Concordia Summit. The main objective of the event was to discuss the impact of investment. During the Summit, Vijay Eswaran spoke about the important role that women entrepreneurs are playing in markets of East Asia and India. He also talked on the critical role of education in entrepreneurship and the way it has been lacking in many Asian countries. He mentioned that it is for this reason he built the Quest University, which is transforming the lives of many people

He was also a speaker on gender parity during the World Economic Forum. The forum was attended by many leaders of government, and top business people from 70 countries. Vijay Eswaran discussed the importance of closing the existing gender gaps in both the traditional and non-traditional roles.
