About Mark Mofid

Dr. Mark Mofid is a plastic surgeon who has been certified by the board of surgeons in the country. He is mainly based in different parts of the country, but he can be found in La Jolla and San Diego area of the country. Dr. Mark Mofid, as earlier stated, has been approved by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Company and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

His Education Background

Dr. Mark Mofid got his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. After clearing his degree, Dr. Mofid was able to complete his medical degree and training in plastic surgery and general surgery where he also did his craniofacial research in John Hopkins University at the School of Medicine. However, he is now a member of staff working as a surgeon around San Diego and La Jolla. Some of the hospitals where he works are Palomar Medical Center based in Escondido, Scripps Memorial Hospital based in La Jolla and Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center.

More to that, Dr. Mofid is a member of the faculty in California University in the Department of Plastic Surgery in San Diego. Among his most significant publications well known by surgeons nationwide, which mainly focuses on breast and facial surgery is a book called Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has also made presentations at different medical conferences locally and internationally.
