It is not very often you hear about law firms making sure people don’t go hungry but for Ohio’s Kisling, Nestico & Redick they took the plunge to do just that.
The law firm has a participating group in the Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump ever since it’s inception in 2004. The polar jump goes to support the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. The money raised goes to more than five hundred local pantries and other community resources as well. Kisling, Nestico & Redick have cumulatively earned over one hundred and nine thousand dollars through the plunge.
In addition to competing in the Polar Bear Jump, the personal injury attorneys went a bit further and decided to work directly with a school in order to ensure that the children of this district did not go hungry.
To make sure that they served those most in need, the law firm contacted the school district’s resource management team to find out which school was in the most need. They recommended Greenbriar Middle School because half of the district’s children were on free or reduced lunches. The teachers had also quietly started a food pantry for the children in need.
Kisling, Nestico & Redick – Give Back to Ohio Community
While these two actions alone are an amazing feat, the Kisling, Nestico & Redick team has also participated in more events such as hosting Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway. At this event, which is held in November, people can bring canned goods or gently-used coats in exchange for a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.
Naturally, a company that gives back this much must be successful and Kisling, Nestico & Redick truly are. They are currently one of the fastest-growing personal injury law firms in Ohio. They have ten offices located throughout Ohio and over four hundred attorneys and one hundred support staff to serve those in need.
